What is your pricing? Pricing is on my website under the sessions tab.
How do I book a session? You can start the process by going to my website then filling out the contact information on the Contact page. You can also call me or email me directly.
Do you offer discounts? Sometimes. I only post those in my newsletter which you can sign up for on the website.
When should I schedule my family session? It is good to schedule as far out as you can. Different photographers have different requirements, for me it is good to have your session booked at least 2-3 months before. When you wait last minute, like a week or two before you take the chance of me not having availability. Now, if life happens and you cannot schedule 2 -3 months in advance, give me a call anyway and I’ll see what I can do!
What happens if the weather is not good on the day of the session? At the time of booking the session I have you choose two dates in case the weather is not good, sometimes this is not always possible if you have adult children coming in from town and only one day will work. I work with you closely to watch the weather and decide if the session needs to be rescheduled or not.
What is the non-refundable session retainer for? This is a fee that is applied to the session fee. It holds your session date and time and protects my time from no shows.
When can I see the pictures? I typically would do in person view sessions, however with COVID and the world the way it is right now I put galleries online. 5-7 business days after the session I will put online a proof gallery. From this proof gallery you choose your favorite pictures from your session.
Can I have the RAW files? No. RAW is a format from camera makers and to view RAW files you need certain software.
Can I get unedited pictures? No, all the pictures you receive will be edited by me.
Can I post my pictures online? Yes, in fact I encourage it. I ask that you credit me in your posts.
Can I apply filters and edit the pictures? No, that is against the copyright.
When should I schedule a newborn session? The ideal time would be 2 to 3 months before the baby’s due date. This way I get you on the books. It also gives me time to get outfits or props if needed for the session.
What if the baby does not arrive on the due date? No problem! When you book the session, we set up what I call a soft date. This means that it can change depending on when the baby is born. When the baby is born, you will need to call or email. At that point after getting some information from you we will set the new session date. Most babies are scheduled anywhere 8-10 or even 12-14 days (about 2 weeks) depending on the babies’ weight.
What if I missed the newborn window and I still want baby pictures? I can still take pictures of your baby; however, they will not look like the newborn pictures because I will not be able to do the poses and wraps, etc.
